Le Sabbie dell’Etna Bianco DOC

A pioneer label in the enology of the Volcano, it embodies the qualities of Carricante and Catarratto, the two symbolic varieties of Etna viticulture. A completely different terroir from the rest of Sicily, with its cold winters and less intense sunlight. The grapes enjoy a slower ripening and the berries are enriched with their perfumed scents in a more linear way. Freshness and fragrance characterize this wine, together with the persistent savory line. The White Sands of Etna bewitches with the olfactory and taste suggestions that it brings as a dowry. The volcanic soil characterized by a high draining capacity gives the grapes, and later the wine, a peculiar minerality enriched by the aromatic complement of Carricante, which in vinification gives elegant nuances of white fruit, and the sustained structure provided by Catarratto.

Tasting Notes:

COLOR Straw yellow with greenish reflections.

SMELL Powerful with clear yellow floral hints of mimosa and broom that well enhance the fruity nuances of white peach, pear and peach.

PALATE It is a wine of great inspiration, the taste is full and rich in texture with a persistent savory line. With a long expression, for freshness and fragrance, it envelops the palate in a unicum that only the varietal vocation of its blends is capable of generating.
